Are you clinically depressed?

No one can escape life’s ups and downs.  Everyone occasionally feels unhappy or sad, but these feelings pass within a couple of days.  When sadness takes hold, and won’t let go, you may be depressed.  Depression is more than just temporary “blues”, it interferes with daily life, normal functioning, and causes pain for both the person with the disorder and those closest.  A person with severe depression has little or no interest in work or hobbies, which they may have once enjoyed.   Even, a simple task as getting out of bed may be difficult.  

Depression is a common but serious illness, with treatment and help, you can feel better.  Learning about depression, it’s signs, symptoms and causes, is the first step to understanding the problem, and seeking help.
